"Messi Watercolor (NAPP #1)"
This is my project that I looked up a tutorial on how to do on the NAPP website. It is a watercolor technique that i wasn't quite able to finish because i didn't know how to do everything in the tutorial. The picture above is the original and the one below is the project. The idea of the project is to make it look like it was painted.

"Photo Editing Sites"
Photo505.com: This site offers many filters and filters that help make the image pop and more pleasing to the eye. It is really easy to use, a little too easy. This site is great to slightly edit an image but compared to Photoshop CS5 it is nothing. The only options on this website only edit an image and its appearance slightly while in Photoshop practically anything is possible! This is why only amateurs and teenagers use this site because Photoshop is really complex and hard to master. Overall this website is a great source for simple filters and edits for the everyday user.
Pixlr.com: This site offers many options including 600 effects, overlays, borders, and cropping options. This website is very helpful to everyone because it has three skill levels that you can choose from. Playful, Efficient, and Advanced are all included on this site. Playful is very simple and basic where you can add filters and different color corrections. Efficient is a little freer with the options available. In this program you can add text, stickers, borders, as well as the basic filters. Advanced has a surprising resemblance to Photoshop. It has the same appearance and almost all of the tools that Photoshop has. This is a wonderful website with the most editorial options out of the sites I have reviewed.
Picmonkey.com
This website offers a variety of adjustments that you can use on your very own photos. Something that’s very cool about this website is that it is very well organized and really easy to use. I didn’t have any trouble at all finding what I wanted to use. It’s comparable to Photoshop in the sense you can edit pictures but you can’t really do anything else with this sight. This site is mainly for teenage girls; it has a whole section just for make up adjustments. The designs and themes for pictures are somewhat feminine and the website itself looks feminine. You could link it to your website, but make a note that this website is mainly for girls.
Splashup.com
Splashup.com is really similar to the photo shop we use in class. You can insert different images and use layers. There are many different filters to choose from. It also offers a huge variety of tools to use to edit or enhance your photos. It is as easy to use as photo shop, so if you know how to use photo shop you will not have any difficulties using this website. It seems like this website is for anyone that wants to edit photos. I don’t think you should link this to your website because it is too similar to the photo shop we use.

"2 Kaleidoscopes"
Google Chrome
In this project we had to make a kaleidoscope using photoshop. It wasn't an easy project because you had to be really precise with what you were doing or else you would mess it up. The kaleidoscope i made above is of the google chrome logo. I also added a filter called fresco which i think made it look pretty cool.
Rockbridge
This is the 2nd Kaleidoscope i made. We had to make a kaleidoscope with a picture that we took, so i chose this picture. It is of rock bridge, which is pretty much a camp somewhere in Virginia. In this one i added the filter poster cuts or something like that. I think it turned out well. This was easier than the first because i knew how to do it.

"Inside and Out"
In this project we had to create something and show what it looked like on the inside side. I chose to do a toddler and her skull. This was a challenge because it was hard to make it look real. Overall the project was fun but difficult.

"Marla"
Before we started this project our class watched a documentary about this young girl about four or five years old. She would paint these abstract paintings and people loved them! The paintings would sell for about $25,000. So in this project I had to create an abstract painting using photoshop. I used some colors that I liked and a tool that smeared some of the paint together.

"Filtered Self Portraits"
In this project we had to take a single image of ourself and duplicate it so you had 9 pictures. We then had to alter each of them so they looked different from each other. I used a chrome filter, a mosaic filter, I changed the colors in some of them. I did many different things to the pictures.

"Pieces of Art"
This 2 pieces were in the magazine ARTnews. Well one of them was, the other was by an artist whose other work was shown in the magazine. The one above of the baby is just incredible, the way he is pointing at the men is just inspiring. The piece below I love because its the joker from batman painted in a different way.
Visual Puns
In this mini project we had to create visual puns. I created Mother Earth, Fire Drill, Deviled Egg, and Watch Dog. This was a fun but simple and easy project.

Wordle?
In this mini project we had to play around with this website called Wordle, where you enter text and it creates a cool text pattern. I entered many of the names of my favorite soccer players and out them into a picture of Messi shooting the ball.

"15 Green Things"
In this project for my Digital Imaging class we had to use 15 pictures that our teacher gave us that had some green in them, we had to use every picture in our project. I took 3 pictures that I didn't really want to use and made them part of a frame or border. Then, I darkened a lot of the pictures and put them inside the frame, and lastly I took a picture of two hands together and made it a circle and put it in the middle. It was a hard project but once i started playing around with the different photos I finally got a result I liked.

"Crazy Combos"
This is a project in my Digital Imaging class called "Crazy Combos" where we had to put many different parts of animals together to create one animal. I call this animal the "Praying Shelled-Chealge". I found images of many different animals like a cheetah, butterfly, and many more to create this animal.

Music Project
This project was called music. We didn't have much freedom of what we could and couldn't do. We had to follow certain directions, and rules when making our project. We had to alter the size of the people and music notes, and change color of them. I wish I had more freedom in doing this project, I think it could of turned out better.
