"Messi Watercolor (NAPP #1)"

This is my project that I looked up a tutorial on how to do on the NAPP website. It is a watercolor technique that i wasn't quite able to finish because i didn't know how to do everything in the tutorial. The picture above is the original and the one below is the project. The idea of the project is to make it look like it was painted.

"Magazine Advertisement"

In this project we had to make an advertisement for a magazine. I made a best buy ad an altered the Best Buy logo so that it was black and gold, i then added text about black friday because black friday wasn't too long ago and the sales stores had were ridiculous.

"Photo Editing Sites"

Photo505.com: This site offers many filters and filters that help make the image pop and more pleasing to the eye. It is really easy to use, a little too easy. This site is great to slightly edit an image but compared to Photoshop CS5 it is nothing. The only options on this website only edit an image and its appearance slightly while in Photoshop practically anything is possible! This is why only amateurs and teenagers use this site because Photoshop is really complex and hard to master. Overall this website is a great source for simple filters and edits for the everyday user.

Pixlr.com: This site offers many options including 600 effects, overlays, borders, and cropping options. This website is very helpful to everyone because it has three skill levels that you can choose from. Playful, Efficient, and Advanced are all included on this site. Playful is very simple and basic where you can add filters and different color corrections. Efficient is a little freer with the options available. In this program you can add text, stickers, borders, as well as the basic filters. Advanced has a surprising resemblance to Photoshop. It has the same appearance and almost all of the tools that Photoshop has. This is a wonderful website with the most editorial options out of the sites I have reviewed.

                 Picmonkey.com

This website offers a variety of adjustments that you can use on your very own photos.  Something that’s very cool about this website is that it is very well organized and really easy to use. I didn’t have any trouble at all finding what I wanted to use. It’s comparable to Photoshop in the sense you can edit pictures but you can’t really do anything else with this sight. This site is mainly for teenage girls; it has a whole section just for make up adjustments. The designs and themes for pictures are somewhat feminine and the website itself looks feminine. You could link it to your website, but make a note that this website is mainly for girls.

Splashup.com

Splashup.com is really similar to the photo shop we use in class. You can insert different images and use layers. There are many different filters to choose from. It also offers a huge variety of tools to use to edit or enhance your photos. It is as easy to use as photo shop, so if you know how to use photo shop you will not have any difficulties using this website. It seems like this website is for anyone that wants to edit photos. I don’t think you should link this to your website because it is too similar to the photo shop we use.
